Who am I
Passionate Professional Personal
Hi, I’m Paul — I'm glad you found your way here. I am a Person-Centred Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor, Couples Counsellor and integrative therapist working with individuals, couples and groups. My toolkit includes PCE-CfD, EMDR, CBT, IPT, and a blend of other approaches like IFS (Internal Family Systems), EFT (Emotion-Focused Therapy), Somatic Therapy, and Brainspotting. I am a counselling tutor also. Most of all I am a human, and have walked dark paths too. I tailor therapy to meet you where you are — because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all.
I’m an accredited member of the BACP, and my specialist areas include trauma (PTSD), depression, anxiety (in all its forms), and relationship work.
What sets me apart? I’m warm, real, and deeply human. I bring enthusiasm, empathy, and a non-judgmental presence to every session. I build genuine rapport quickly, helping people reconnect with their strengths and move forward in meaningful ways.
Therapy with me is a two-way street. You bring your lived experience; I bring my training and insight. Together, we co-create a space where growth happens — safely, collaboratively, and at your pace.
I believe a huge part of the relationship alliance is the therapy. That’s why I offer a relaxed, confidential environment where you can explore what’s weighing you down and begin to find clarity, resilience, and relief.
I work with adults (18+) and couples. If you’re ready to begin, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Multi model Approach
Matched to your need - not a default
Need help to move forward in life? I use an array of counselling and coaching skills to provide an holistic approach that give you the tools for success. Working delicately and confidentiality with what you bring, you will be treated with respect and empathy. I don't believe in a one size fits all approach to therapy, your counselling will be as individual are you are.

So what exactly are some of the things I offer ?
A brief overview for you
Counselling
Counselling aims to help people deal with and overcome issues that are causing emotional and psychological pain and distress. The impact of these difficulties can be significant in the short term and long term if not addressed. Thus impacting the individual’s ability to relate to themselves, others and the world we live in.
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. Repeated studies show that by using EMDR therapy people can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference.
Couples counselling
Couples therapy is a form of psychotherapy designed to help partners improve their relationship. Guided by a trained therapist, couples explore communication patterns, resolve conflicts, and deepen emotional connection. Whether facing specific challenges or seeking to strengthen their bond, therapy provides a safe space to understand each other better and build healthier dynamics.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It's most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, but can be useful for other mental and physical health problems.
BrainSpotting
Brainspotting (BSP) is a new treatment approach which works by identifying, processing, and releasing stored negative or traumatic experiences from the brain to help affected individuals heal from within. It also promotes healing for individuals suffering from physical pain.
Interpersonal Psychotherapy
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) is a structured therapy for people with moderate to severe depression. A central idea in IPT is that psychological symptoms, such as depressed mood, can be understood as a response to current difficulties in our everyday interactions with others.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical counselling supervision is a structured, collaborative process that supports counsellors in their professional development and ethical practice. Through regular sessions with a qualified supervisor, practitioners reflect on their work, enhance clinical skills, and ensure client care remains safe and effective. Supervision fosters growth, accountability, and resilience—making it an essential component of competent, compassionate counselling.
